Ahead of the opening match of the BRI Liga 1 2021/2022, against Persik Kediri at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Friday (27/8/2021), Bali United made a breakthrough by launching the latest jersey.
For the first time, Bali United finally collaborated with sports apparel to make a jersey. This time, Serdadu Tridatu collaborated with Mills, who had collaborated with Bali United Basketball to make a jersey.
In launching the jersey on the Vidio.com channel on Wednesday (25/8/2021), Bali United also dedicated it to those affected by the pandemic situation, especially on the island of the gods.
The most visible affected are the people working in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), one of which is the traders.
Incidentally, the MSME sector is like a trader in a Bali souvenir center. Bali United was also inspired by this situation by presenting a new concept on the jersey which will be used as a primary weapon in navigating the new competition this season.
The location for the video shoot was also seen at the Sukawati Art Market. In addition, they collaborate with local Balinese artists such as Balawan, Anggis Devaki, and Kedux Garage. Their home jersey still uses the basic red color. White for the away game and black for the alternative jersey.
Meanwhile, the goalkeeper jersey is still purple as the main choice and gold for the second goalkeeper jersey. The overall color of this jersey is combined with other colors that lead to the tie dye concept which further enhances the appearance of this year’s jersey.
“We are presenting the Bali United jersey this season because it is inspired by local SMEs in Bali who sell barong shirts with tie dye motifs. We know that in this pandemic season, tourism in Bali is greatly affected, especially the traders,” said Bali United Marketing Director Putri Sudali.
“Through the jersey that takes the tie dye motif, we want to bring a sense of enthusiasm for local MSMEs in Bali to immediately rise from the pandemic situation that hit. We are also preparing an agenda of activities that help local MSMEs in Bali to relieve them at this time. Together with local MSMEs in Bali, the energy of enthusiasm is always present in every match that will be played by the Tridatu Serdadu troops on the gridiron,” he added.
As for the launch of this new jersey, he collaborated with several influencers and also inspiring parties from the island of the gods. They are involved in several jersey appearance schemes released this year.
For the kendang jersey, Bali United collaborated with Nyoman Gede Sentana Putra or who is familiarly called Kedux Garage as an inspiration because Kedux Garage excels in the field of custom motorcycle assembly.
For away and alternative jerseys, they collaborated with The Voice Kids Indonesia Season II graduates Anggis Devaki and I Wayan Balawan, an international Jazz guitarist with the “Touch Tapping Style” guitar technique with a two-headed guitar characteristic.
Balawan brought his name into the list of the 100 best guitarists in the world. For the goalkeeper jersey with green and purple colors, they collaborated with the Good Ponsel trio as one of the influencers of TikTok hits from the Island of the Gods who began to be widely known in Indonesia.
