PSM Makassar has confirmed that it will add ammunition before the transfer market for the BRI Liga 1 2021-2022 season closes on Saturday (3/9/21).

Currently, the Ramang Troop has 32 players, the majority of whom are young people, plus two foreign legions from the Netherlands, including Anco Jansen and Wiljan Pluim.

“Several players will join and are currently taking care of their PCR tests before leaving here,” said coach Milomir Seslija to the editor of sports news INDOSPORT, Thursday (26/8/21).

Still from Seslija, the owner of the UEFA Pro coaching license said that PSM Makassar could only maximize the loan option in the remaining time of the transfer market at the beginning of the 2021-2022 BRI Liga 1 season.

“Pak Appi (Munafri Arifuddin) is negotiating with a number of clubs to be able to borrow his players,” said the former coach of Arema FC and Madura United.

Milomir Seslija himself has just sent home two selected players, namely Olisa Godstime Ouseloka and Jacky Runtulalu because they were deemed to be incompatible with the PSM Makassar scheme in the 2021-2022 Liga 1 event.

Furthermore, Milomir Seslija said that the management of PSM Makassar was eyeing a star-studded club to borrow players who might be bench warmers.

“We see a big possibility. Even though we don’t know which club would agree to have their players loaned out, we will continue to try this option,” said Milo, his nickname.

PSM Makassar itself is said to have recruited its former foreign defender in the 2020 Liga 1 as well as Milomir Seslija’s compatriot from Bosnia Herzegovina, namely Serif Hasic.
