Persija Jakarta assistant coach, Sudirman, asked his team’s supporters, The Jakmania, to support the Kemayoran Tiger Team in BRI Liga 1 2021/2022 through the small screen.
The National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo and the Coordinator for the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) for Java-Bali Island, Luhut Pandjaitan, have allowed BRI Liga 1 to be held without spectators and apply strict health protocols.
In addition, the National Police Chief and Luhut also only allowed the BRI Liga 1 to run in three matches as a test of the health protocol.
However, Persija Jakarta along with 12 other clubs have not yet received a schedule to play this weekend.
Persija Jakarta learned a lot from the incident after winning the 2021 Menpora Cup. At that time, The Jakmania took to the streets for a convoy and a championship party.
“Let’s support Persija from our respective homes. As a team, we will work hard to win for The Jakmania,” added Sudirman, quoted from the club’s website.
The Jakmania can watch BRI Liga 1 live and exclusively on Indosiar, O Channel, and the Vidio live streaming platform starting 27 August 2021.
Currently, PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) has just released the initial three parties for BRI Liga 1. The reason is that the competition operator is still waiting for an evaluation from the police.
If the results of the assessment are satisfactory, PT LIB can resume BRI Liga 1 on September 3, 2021. Practically, Persija Jakarta has the opportunity to start its work next week.
“God willing, the first three matches went smoothly. Hopefully the schedule can be announced early next week,” said PT LIB President Director, Akhmad Hadian Lukita to Bola.com, Wednesday (25/8/2021). (bola.com)
