Grab Collaborates with 23 National Brands to Support Fundraising

Online transportation company, Grab Indonesia, collaborated with 23 business partners to help deal with Covid-19. This campaign program is called “BERSATU”.

At this stage, Grab together with EMTEK, Accenture, Microsoft, Indosat Ooredoo and OVO have committed to provide assistance worth Rp 11 billion.

This donation will be distributed by Grab to Grab driver-partners, freelancers from the MSME and community sectors, medical volunteers, PMI volunteers, ambulance drivers, funeral workers and orphanages.

In carrying out this campaign, Grab also collaborates with the crowdfunding platform BenihBaik.com to present a donation program for all Grab application users.

“The voucher code “BERSATU” will give a donation of IDR 5 thousand. Every donation collected will be channeled to Benihbaik.com,” explained Country Managing Director Grab Indonesia, Neneng Goenadi in a release received by Dream.

The donation will be distributed to health facilities, health workers, children affected by Covid-19 and hawkers with the following details.

For example, for health facilities, Grab will provide the necessary equipment, medicines to hospitals, and Covid-19 patients who are being treated.

Health facilities (Hospitals, Health Centers, Emergency Hospitals, and Health Workers) that require medical equipment and assistance, as well as facilities to serve COVID-19 patients.

Health workers and the public who have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus by distributing packages of medicines and multivitamins to support health and recovery from COVID-19.

Children Exposed to COVID-19 by distributing health packages and educational toys so that they remain educated during the recovery process.

Freelancers (hawkers and street vendors) who are struggling to stay afloat during the pandemic and need basic food assistance to support themselves.
