1NEWS – Head of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), Dwikorita, predicts that Indonesia will experience a significant increase in air temperature.
According to him, the increase in air temperature is the impact of increasing CO² concentrations, so people are advised to be vigilant by taking mitigation.
“At the end of the 21st century, it had reached three degrees Celsius on major islands in Indonesia, before 1950-2100 before the industrial revolution,” said Dwi in his statement, Saturday (27/8/2021) yesterday.
