Yosef Hidayah’s attorney emphasized that his client could not possibly kill his own wife and children, Tuti Suhartini and Amalia Mustika Ratu or Amel. After Amel died, Yosef lost his wife and especially his son.
On the other hand, Yosef feels cornered by public opinion as if he killed his wife and child. That’s why he appointed a legal representative to accompany him from these speculative accusations.
Yosef keeps calling Amel
Almost two weeks into the investigation into the murder of a mother and child in Jalancagak, but the police have not yet uncovered the killers of Tuti and Amel. In conclusion based on witness testimony and crime scene analysis, the police said that the killer of the child’s mother was a close person, familiar with the two victims. But who is still a mystery.
Yosef’s attorney, Rohman Hidayat, has fully handed over the investigation of this murder case to the Subang Police and his staff.
However, Rohman regretted the growing opinion and speculation that judged his client and his young wife.
The opinion that accuses the perpetrators of being Yosef and his young wife is certainly very detrimental to his client, said Rohman.
“Why? It is clear, however, that Pak Yosep as a father cannot possibly do that. Every day, Pak Yosep always calls out Amel’s name (victim),” he said as quoted from iNews, Sunday, August 29, 2021.
So far, the police have examined 25 witnesses and processed crime scenes at the victim’s house in Jalancagak, Subang.
In addition, the police also checked a number of CCTVs around the crime scene, tested the findings of blood spots and evidence, as well as fingerprints and DNA of witnesses to be matched with findings at the crime scene. The police admitted that they were waiting for the results of the Puslabfor’s analysis of some of the findings.
Perpetrators of close people
The certainty about the perpetrator who was the closest person to the victim was first revealed by the Subang Police Chief, AKBP Sumarni to the media. He explained that the conclusion was taken after his party did not find any damage at the entrance to the house or the crime scene.
So, it can be ascertained, the suspect understands the location of the murder. “There are indications that the perpetrator and the victim knew each other. Because at the crime scene, the entrance to the victim’s house was not damaged. So the front and back doors were not damaged, nor were the windows. No scuff marks or anything. Therefore, it is estimated that the perpetrator knew the victim,” said Subang Police Chief AKBP Sumarni.
The police have examined a number of witnesses, including the victim’s husband and father. So far, they believe, the two victims were killed in a cruel and vicious way.
“We also collected evidence at the crime scene including the clothes at the crime scene worn by one of the witnesses, where the clothes were stained with blood,” he said.
