The Denpasar Immigration Detention Center deported an immigration violator or immigration detainee named Daniel BH, a United States citizen, through Soekarno Hatta Airport, on Friday 27 August 2021.
This deportation was carried out because Daniel violated Article 75 of Law No. RI. 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration in conjunction with article 406 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code. It is known, this man from the United States came to Indonesia around March 2020 through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Kuta.

“The person concerned (Daniel, ed) is involved in a criminal case, namely vandalism,” said Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Jamaruli Manihuruk, on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

After being declared free from Kerobokan Class II A Prison, on March 9, 2021, Daniel apparently did not have a valid passport and residence permit in Indonesia. So he is subject to Immigration Administrative Action Article 75 of the Law. No. 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.

Jamaruli explained, from the file received at the Class II A Kerobokan Prison, Daniel previously had the name David Smith from Canada. However, after being checked at the Denpasar police station, his real name was Daniel BH from the United States.
