ACCURATE.CO The Energy and Mineral Resources Research and Development Agency held a Covid-19 vaccination entitled “Vaccination” for the general public in Jakarta and its surroundings.

The location for the Covid-19 vaccination will be held from August 28, 2021 to September 1, 2021. Located at the Lemigas Technology Forum Building, South Jakarta.

This event is a joint action with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, First Media, Jaya/Jayakarta Military Regional Health (Kesdam Jaya) and the Exemplary Alumni Family Association (IKA) of SMA Negeri 3 Jakarta.

Plt. Head of the ESDM Research and Development Agency Dadan Kusdiana explained that the ESDM Research and Development Agency office was chosen as the vaccination location because it has large building facilities and an open area large enough to accommodate crowds of people.

In addition, vaccination coverage for the surrounding community in Cipulir Village, Kebayoran Lama District is still low, at 58 percent. This coverage is ranked 62 out of 65 urban villages in Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta.

“The provision of vaccination locations at the Lemigas Technology Forum Building is expected to assist the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in increasing vaccination coverage in Cipulir Village to 65-75 percent,” said Dadan in his statement, Jakarta, Monday (30/8/2021).

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government provides the AstraZeneca vaccine, while the Kesdam Jaya prepares the Sinovac vaccine. AstraZeneca vaccine is given to people aged 18 years and over. The Sinovac vaccine is intended for children aged 12-17 years, the elderly (over 60 years) and participants of the Sinovac 2nd vaccine.

The total vaccine administration for five days is targeted at 3,000 people around Kebayoran Lama District or 600 doses of vaccine per day. Vaccination is open to the public, both from the community and family members of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

This implementation does not limit residents’ domicile addresses, so residents who do not have a DKI Jakarta Identity Card (KTP) can also participate.
