Benitez confident Everton recruits new face ahead of deadline – Everton coach, Rafael Benitez believes his club ahead of the close of the transfer market can bring new players again to Goodison Park.

Since being entrusted with replacing Carlo Ancelotti, the Spanish football coach has not brought in big names. This is different from last season where the Premier League contestants were able to bring in James Rodriguez and Allan.

So far, Rafael Benitez has only brought in players like Demarai Gray, Andros Townsend, and Asmir Begovic. In fact, 2 of them have helped the football club from Merseyside to win two wins and one draw in the 2021/22 Premier League.

On the other hand, the new transfer market will close on Tuesday (31/8) local time. This means that there is still time for the Merseyside football club to add new players even though there is little time left.

After his team won 2-0 over Brighton in the third week of the Premier League, Rafel Benitez did not mention the names of the players who would be brought in. However, the former Liverpool tactician hinted that Everton would be active ahead of the close of the transfer market.

Talk to Liverpool Echo, the coach said when signing a few contracted players. He explained as a team it had to recruit more especially the players it needed and if the problems were fixed the club could be better.

Rafael Benitez said Everton had brought in Demarai Gray because of his quality and the same was true for Andros Towsend, especially as a 30-year-old footballer with experience in the Premier League. He explained that his club had brought in a suitable winger which he did not have last season.

Furthermore, the coach also hinted at new players who would be brought in more experienced. Because he thinks he can make the team nicknamed The Toffees stronger.

Although fans expect Everton to bring a big name, Rafael Benitez doesn’t seem to want to. While the players who have the opportunity to be brought in are FC Porto winger, Luis Diaz.
