TRANSFER DEADLINE: Barcelona & Atletico Discuss Antoine Griezmann's Return – Despite having lost Lionel Messi, Barcelona are apparently still determined to remove Antoine Griezmann from their squad and are now preparing to send him back to Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are in shock talk about the sensational return of Antoine Griezmann to Atletico Madrid, according to multiple sources.

The two sides are discussing a move that would see the Spain international striker leave the Catalans and sign for the Spanish capital club on loan with a mandatory purchase option.

Atletico Madrid are now open to exploring such a transfer as they are considering allowing Saul Niguez to join Chelsea for IDR 84 billion in a loan transfer plus a purchase option worth IDR 672 billion.

Actually this isn’t the first time Barcelona have attempted to remove Antoine Griezmann from their squad, especially given his extraordinarily high salary at Camp Nou which stands at IDR 6.75 Trillion per week, the second highest at the club.

Initially the Catalan giants offered Atlético Madrid in swap deals with Joao Felix and then Saul Niguez, but the attempt failed as the side failed. Los Rojiblancos not interested in the deal.

Now that Tuesday’s transfer deadline draws near, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are again locked in talks over a potential transfer deal for Antoine Griezmann, who has reportedly been offered to Premier League clubs including longtime fan Manchester United.

The La Liga champions are studying their finances to see if they can afford to repatriate the France international, who was a major icon of the club for five seasons before moving to Camp Nou in the summer of 2019.
