1NEWS – Along with the turn of August to September, the summer transfer window is officially over. But there’s always something interesting to talk about. Not just Messi’s move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) or Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United.

The story of this player who failed to move is different from the others, if Mbappe did not move because PSG rejected Real Madrid’s proposal, then Eintracht Frankfurt striker Filip Kostic was quite interesting, where he was deliberately prevented by the Bundesliga club from moving to Lazio by a way of intentionally sending the wrong email address to Lazio who want to officially make their bid for the player.

Lazio offers €10.2 million / Rp. 168 billion via e-mail and the result is nil because the e-mail address is the wrong one.

Even though Lazio are seriously looking for a reliable striker to replace Joaquin Correa who moved to last season’s Serie A champions Inter Milan.

According to reports from Italian media carciomecato, it seems that Frankfurt really intend to use this tactic as a bluff as they never want to lose their star player.

From Kostic’s side, the 28-year-old Serbian player himself is actually not interested in continuing to play in Frankfurt.

Even his attitude was shown when Kostic decided not to participate in training in preparation against Arminia Bielefeld last weekend, where the club won a draw.

Frankfurt have started the campaign badly and plus now one of their stars does not seem to be showing his seriousness anymore to defend the club. So, the situation went awry.

Kostic himself has two years remaining on his contract. So far Kostic has a record 14 goals in 99 games since joining from Hamburg in 2018. And it seems he has to fight to be professional even though it was Frankfurt who indirectly taught how to be unprofessional.
