Indonesian player, Egy Maulana Vikri, finally has a new club after deciding to leave Lechia Gdansk.
After defending the Polish club, Egy Maulana Vikri has now officially joined the Slovak team, FK Senica.
FK Senica introduced Egy Maulana Vikri through his official Instagram account on Tuesday (31/8/2021).
The club hopes that Egy Maulana Vikri can make a difference in the team’s game in Slovakia’s top-flight competition.
FK Senica is currently in sixth place in the Slovak League standings.
Egy Maulana Vikri got number 17 at FK Senica.
“Welcome Egy Maulana Vikri.”
“Egy Maulana Vikri has officially joined FK Senica.”
“Egy Maulana Vikri is an Indonesian national team player and previously played for Lechia Gdansk,” the club said in a statement.
It was not explained how long Egy Maulana Vikri’s contract with FK Senica was.
Even so, Egy Maulana Vikri’s agent, Dusan Bogdanovic, revealed the contract duration of the 21-year-old player.
Speaking to BolaSport.com, Egy Maulana Vikri was only contracted for six months.
There is an option for an extension if FK Senica’s agreement with Egy Maulana Vikri is executed.
“Egy Maulana Vikri’s contract at FK Senica is 6 months,” said Dusan Bogdanovic.
“But there is a plan to extend the contract for 1.5 years,” said the figure who is also the agent of Witan Sulaiman.
Dusan Bogdanovic said the agreement was related to the playing minutes that Egy Maulana Vikri had to get.
Previously while strengthening Lechia Gdansk, the player from Medan, North Sumatra, only played 10 matches.
It can be seen that the duration of Egy Maulana Vikri’s playing minutes is only 133 minutes in a three-year contract at Lechia Gdansk.
Egy Maulana Vikri more often defends academy club Lechia Gdansk than appears in the Polish League.
If Egy Maulana Vikri has played a lot with FK Senica, Dusan Bogdanovic agrees that the player will continue his career there.
However, Egy Maulana Vikri’s contract could end sooner if the agreement is not executed.
“If he plays enough minutes, his contract is immediately extended.”
“That’s what we negotiated in contract negotiations with FK Senica,” concluded Dusan Bogdanovic.
