Sources said that the wealthy businessman came to the Badung Police Station for investigation accompanied by his legal team at around 10:00 WITA. After being questioned until 19.00 WITA, Zainal Tayeb was immediately arrested.
“He (Zainal Tayeb) was examined on the 1st floor and immediately detained on the second floor of the Badung Police Headquarters detention center,” said the source.
The source explained that Zainal Tayeb’s investigation regarding alleged criminal acts ordered to enter false information into an authentic deed related to the sale and purchase of assets in Cemagi Village, Mengwi District, Badung.
He explained that the investigators had previously carried out a case title and then named him a suspect.
Meanwhile, the detention of Zaenal Tayeb has not been confirmed by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of AKP Puti Ika Prabawa. He handed it over to the Head of Public Relations of the Badung Police, Iptu Ketut Sudana.
Meanwhile, Iptu Ketut Sudana confirmed to reporters that Zaenal Tayeb was being investigated. Unfortunately he could not confirm whether he was immediately arrested or not.
