West Sumatra’s exports stretched, July experienced an increase of 14.19…

1NEWS – The Central Statistics Agency noted that the export value of West Sumatra in July 2021 increased by 14.19 percent compared to the previous month.

The head of the West Sumatra BPS Herum Fajarwati said that in June 2021, West Sumatra’s exports would reach 194.60 million US dollars.

“July rose to 221.21 million US dollars,” he said in Padang, Thursday (2/9).

Herum revealed that in July 2021 the most exported category of goods was animal/vegetable fats and oils amounting to 170.42 million US dollars.

Meanwhile, the rubber and rubber products were US$18.71 million.

As for the largest destination countries for West Sumatra’s exports in July 2021, Pakistan is worth 72.50 million US dollars and India 37.67 million US dollars.

During the January-July 2021 period, exports to Pakistan contributed 23.46 percent.

Meanwhile, in July 2021, the value of West Sumatra’s imports reached 66.44 million US dollars or more than doubled to reach 133.73 percent compared to June 2021 which was recorded at 28.43 million US dollars.
