I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport noted that during the August 2021 period, it served 89,963 passengers arriving and departing.
The number of achievements is in line with aviation regulations during the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in the government’s effort to anticipate the spread of Covid-19.

When compared to the total number of passengers served in July 2021 as many as 82,758, there was an increase of 8%, but there was a decrease in the number of aircraft carrying, namely in July 2021 as many as 1,164 movements while 1,069 movements in August 2021 decreased by 8% percentage.

Seeing this achievement, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport continues to strive to support this PPKM policy, synergize with stakeholders related to implementing the rules set by the government and commitment to implementing health protocols.

During August 2021, the highest number of arrivals on August 27 was 2,357 passengers and 2,681 passengers on August 29 for departures. The 3 airlines that carried the most passengers were Citilink Indonesia 47,682 passengers, Garuda Indonesia 17,956 passengers and Batik Air 12,579 passengers.

“Especially for the comparison of passengers for 8 months in 2021, 1,843,670 passengers departing and arriving, compared to 2020, it decreased by 25%, although we remain committed to the implementation of health protocols,” he said.
