The disbursement of incentives for health workers (nakes) handling Covid-19 in Gianyar will soon be realized.
This is the aftermath of the Gianyar Regent, Made Mahayastra, who received a warning from the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian because he was caught not paying the health worker incentives.

This was confirmed by the Head of the Gianyar Covid-19 Task Force Daily Made Gede Wisnu Wijaya when met on Thursday (2/9). “Incentives for health workers are clear,” he said briefly.

Regarding the amount, based on data from the Gianyar Regency Health Office, it reached more than Rp. 12 billion for the January-June 2021 period.

The number of health workers who received incentives was 2,162 people. It consists of 148 specialist doctors, 209 general practitioners and dentists, 957 nurses and midwives, and 848 other health workers. So the total number of recipients of health workers incentives is 2,162 people.

For 148 specialist doctors, the realization of incentives during January-June amounted to more than Rp 1.3 billion. For general practitioners and dentists, more than Rp 1.4 billion has been realized.

For midwives and nurses, more than Rp. 5.6 billion was realized, and for other health workers, more than Rp. 3.9 billion was realized. So that the total incentives realized are worth more than Rp. 12.3 billion.

Meanwhile, the Acting Head of the Gianyar Health Service, Dr. Ida Komang Upeksa, confirmed that all health workers had received incentives. “That’s it, that’s it,” he said, Friday (3/9).

Upeksa emphasized that the slow disbursement was due to the fact that the Puskesmas were busy taking care of handling Covid in each sub-district and village.
