Massimiliano Allegri Angry With Juventus For Selling Cristiano Ronaldo – The surprise departure of Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United at the end of the transfer window has apparently left Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri disappointed.

Italy tactician Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly angry with Juventus over the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo, as he was not previously told when he was about to take up the job at the club that the 36-year-old would be sold this summer.

The 54-year-old has returned to Turin to replace Andrea Pirlo who failed to win the Scudetto title, with the former AC Milan boss returning to the job he left in 2019.

In his first spell at the club, Massimiliano Allegri won five Scudetto titles, four Coppa Italias and two Supercoppa Italiana, having an incredible points average of 2.27 points per game in a total of 271 games.

It’s a shame that he’s now finding it difficult to bring Juventus back to the title they had won during the previous nine seasons due to the reduced strength of the team following the departure of their 108 goalscorer over three seasons, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portugal international forward surprisingly took the move away from Turin at the end of this summer’s transfer window, almost moving to Manchester City before he finally decided to rejoin his old club Manchester United.

according to Il Giornale, Massimiliano Allegri is now furious with club president Andrea Agnelli and sporting director Federico Cherubini, telling club leadership that this was not the deal when he agreed to return to the club.

Moreover, Juventus also ultimately failed to strengthen their squad much in the transfer market this summer, only bringing in Manuel Locatelli from Sassuolo and Moise Kean from Everton, which of course is still far from enough to cover the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
