“All physical development in the national capital will begin by waiting for the IKN Law,” said Rudy, quoted from Liputan6.com, Friday (3/9/2021).
Rudy said that the master plan for the new capital city project has now been completed, and it remains only to make adjustments to the existing spatial layout in the field.
Rudy mentioned that the details of the design of the new capital city belonging to the 1st winner of the competition prepared by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) still have to be prepared again.
“What about the site plant, what kind of land development is it, because the location is hilly there. That’s what PUPR friends are preparing,” said Rudy.
“Then what is certain is that access has been prepared. Pak Jokowi also saw yesterday. Then some clean water needs are also being prepared. Initially to meet clean water in Balikpapan, but it can be for the State Capital,” he said.
Member of Commission XI of the DPR RI, Mukhamad Misbakhun, responded to the length of time needed to complete the construction of the State Capital (IKN) or the new capital city. He considered the length of the duration as reasonable.
