Chika is a 3-year-old girl in Pasir Wan Salim Village, Mempawah, West Kalimantan who takes care of her mother alone.
The mother, Dwinta, has difficulty doing activities due to her illness. Chika takes care of her mother every day from bathing, dressing and feeding.
Chika and her mother have only lived alone because her father, Billi works and comes home once a week because of an irregular job.
Dwinta has suffered from this illness for a long time, since she was 15 years old when she was still in elementary school.
Dwinta often feels her eyeballs hurt and spin. Then the condition spread throughout his body and made him fall. At the age of 19, he married and gave birth to Chika three years ago.
“Since elementary school, he often suddenly falls,” said Rina, Dwinta’s biological mother, met at her home, Wednesday (1/9/2021).
Dwinta gave birth to Chika by caesarean section. Before giving birth to Chika, Dwinta could still hold objects, but now she can’t control her body which seems to be shaking.
However, because she doesn’t have the money, Dwinta only undergoes an alternative treatment process by drinking herbal ingredients.
