Amateur club from Medan City, Young Sports Ball (YOB) Belawan, is increasingly optimistic about the 2021 North Sumatra (North Sumatra) Zone 3 League.
This optimism was conveyed after the new club and debutant in the North Sumatran League 3 successfully held a draw with the Liga 2 club, PSMS Medan, in a test match at the Mini Garden Flower Stadium, Medan, Friday (3/9/21) evening.
Where this amateur club managed to hold PSMS to a 1-1 draw. Where all the goals that were created in that match were created in the first half, through goals from Ilham Fathoni (PSMS) and Maulana Kalidi (YOB Belawan).
The manager of YOB Belawan, Jaya Saputra, admitted that after seeing his team in the match, his side became more optimistic about the League 3 zone of North Sumatra this year.
“If we see the children playing against PSMS, we are optimistic. What is certain is that the training is more persistent, tactics and physicality are all being improved,” he hoped.
Not only that, continued Jaya, even his party did not want to be limited to being a participant in their first participation in the League 3 zone of North Sumatra. Because they immediately set a high target.
Meanwhile, the Belawan YOB coach, Zefrizal, said he was satisfied and appreciated the success of his team in holding PSMS to a draw in the trial match.
“This is the real party. Although different castes, but we try to give resistance to them. We realize that playing here there is of course pressure, whether physical, tactical or individual,” he explained.
“Today the children can appreciate what I want and they fight with a high fighting spirit,” he concluded.
