Witan debut gives Lechia a 3-0 win

1NEWS, Young Indonesian midfielder, Witan Sulaeman immediately got a debut match with his new club, Lechia Gdansk during a trial match at the headquarters of the Polish League fourth tier club, Jeziorak Ilawa, Saturday (4/9) night WIB.

Witan himself entered in the second half, precisely in the 73rd minute together with Milosz Szczepanski to replace Egzon Kryeziu and Kacper Sezonienko.

Lechia had already won 2-0 before Witan entered. Lechia’s first goal was scored by Flavio Paixao in the 48th minute’, followed by Joseph Ceesay’s second goal in the 71st minute’.

Even though he only appeared for 17 minutes, Witan showed an impressive performance. Filling the right winger position, the 19-year-old midfielder is able to move freely from the center to the left of the field.

Not only that, Witan also has one chance to score. Unfortunately, the Indonesian national team player was still not able to welcome a breakthrough bait that the ball was slightly closer to the opposing goalkeeper.

Towards the end of the match, Joseph Ceesay succeeded in creating a brace through his second goal in the 83rd minute after utilizing Jaroslaw Kubicki’s mature pass. Until the long whistle was blown, the score was 3-0 for Lechia’s advantage did not change.

Witan himself only joined Lechia Gdansk three days ago, or to be precise, Wednesday (1/9). The Ragunan SKO dropout joined after his contract with Serbian club Radnik Surdulica expired.
