David Luiz Will Join a Club with Franck Ribery

Crazybola.com – David Luiz looks set to be a club partner with former Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery at promoted Serie A club Salernitana this season.

Salernitana is the latest club to be rumored to want to sign Luiz this season. The 34-year-old Brazilian defender has not had a club since he left Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

However, the former Chelsea star has no shortage of fans. Apart from Salernitana, Luiz is also reportedly being eyed by Brazilian club Flamengo and Adana Demispor – a Turkish club that is reinforced by former Manchester City player, Mario Balotelli.

David Luiz seems to still be grazing in one of Europe’s top leagues, by joining the club based in the southern region of Italy. Salernitana is expected to be negotiating a deal with the player’s representatives this week.

After being promoted to Serie A this season, the club, who were runners-up in Serie B last season, have managed to bring in former Bayern Munich star from France, Franck Ribery.

The 38-year-old midfielder has agreed a contract with grenades, and underwent a medical test on Monday (6/9) local time.

David Luiz himself is still ambitious to lift the trophy even though his career in the world of football has entered its old age.

Salernitana seems to have to fight extra to get David Luiz. The reason is, the defender who has also defended PSG is reportedly also ogled by another Serie A team, Lazio. Although this news was later denied by the coach, Maurizio Sarri, who admitted that he had to end his club’s interest in Luiz.

At the start of this season, Salernitana, who has just returned to Serie A after 23 years away from the Italian top flight, suffered defeats in their opening two matches, including a 4-0 loss to AS Roma.
