Shin Tae-Yong’s Target in the Second Stage of TC Indonesia U-18 National Team | 1NEWS

The second stage of the U-18 Indonesia national team training camp (TC) has been carried out. A total of 36 players were called upon to participate in the agenda which was held at the Madya Stadium, Senayan, 5 to 11 September.

A number of targets were set by the coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, in the TC. He wants all the players who are called to compete healthy and show their best performance.

“We hope that the players in the second stage of the U-18 national team TC can show their abilities to the maximum. Players must have a good posture, physically and mentally,” said Tae-yong, quoted by the official PSSI website.

In this second stage of TC, there are several players who have been in uniform with the Indonesian U-16 national team and Garuda Select. They are I Made Putra Kaicen, Ronaldo Junior, Marselino Ferdinand, Resa Aditya, Bramdani, Rafli Asrul, and Edgard Amping.

“Alhamdulillah, I am very happy to be called up to the Indonesian national team again. This is an opportunity that I have to maximize well after I suffered a long injury,” said Ruy Arianto.

“I will try to give my best for a place in the Indonesian national team. Because one of my dreams is to be able to play in the 2023 U-20 World Cup,” the Persebaya Surabaya player added.

Previously, Tae-yong also called 36 players to take part in the first stage of TC. The agenda was held at the same place, and ended on September 3, 2021.

The TC is a series of preparations for the U-20 World Cup, which will be held in 2023. The event should have been held this year in Indonesia, but had to be postponed due to the corona virus pandemic.
