Since the first, the prestigious Miss Universe event seems very interesting to follow. In the event, dozens of beautiful women representing many countries in the world gathered and showed their respective charms, until finally one was chosen as the winner. Well, this time we will discuss the 6 countries that produce the most Miss Universe to date. Which country are you? Check out the first list below.

1. United States of America

In the first place there is a country that is often nicknamed Uncle Sam, namely the United States. The country is recorded to have won the most Miss Universe crowns until now. There were 8 beautiful women from the United States who won the event, namely Miriam Stevenson in 1954, Carol Morris in 1956, Linda Bement in 1960, Sylvia Louise Hitchcock in 1967, Shawn Weatherly in 1980, Chelsi Smith in 1995, Brooke Lee in 1997 and Olivia Culpo in 2012.

The most recent Miss Universe winner from America, Olivia Culpo, is still active as a celebrity and has collaborated with many well-known fashion and beauty brands such as L’Oreal, Kipling and Uberliss as influencer. She also starred in several films such as “I Feel Pretty”, “Reprisal”, and “The Swing of Things”.

2. Venezuela

The country in second place is Venezuela, a country located on the northern coast of South America. Venezuela is bordered by Colombia, Brazil and Guyana. Only 1 point different from America, it turns out that Venezuela has won 7 times at Miss Universe, you know! Who are Miss Universe from Venezuela?

Miss Universe Venezuela winners were Maritza Sayalero in 1979, Irene Saez in 1981, Barbara Palacios in 1986, Alicia Machado in 1996, Dayana Mendoza in 2008, Stefania Fernandez in 2009, and finally Gabriela Isler in 2013.

The last Miss Universe from Venezuela, Gabriela Isler, is currently still active as CEO of a social organization called the Universe of Blessings Fund which was formed to encourage young women to avoid early pregnancy under the age of 20.
