Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri Confirmed To Play Drama Together | Kpop Chart

Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri have been confirmed to star in the same drama.

On Tuesday (07/09), both of them were confirmed as the main stars of the latest drama entitled ‘Twenty-Five Twenty-One’.

‘Twenty-Five Twenty-One’ tells the story of two people who first met at the age of 22 and 18, and only started dating after they were 25 and 21 years old. This drama is about romance, growth towards adulthood and friendship.

Kim Tae Ri will play the character Na Hee Do, who becomes an athlete on the national fencing team after experiencing a struggle when her school team is disbanded due to the IMF financial crisis. He is a passionate and courageous character who never gives up.

Nam Joo Hyuk is reporter Baek Yi Jin, the eldest son of a family torn apart by the IMF financial crisis. He delivers newspapers and works part-time at a book-rental shop to survive.

WJSN’s Bona will play Na Hee Do’s rival, Go Yoo Rim, the youngest gold medal-winning fencer. He is a fencer who is full of charisma, but has a fun and cute personality when not competing.

Choi Hyun Wook’s character Moon Ji Woong is a unique character with a distinct fashion sense. He is a social media star who dreams of becoming a ‘Today’s Member’ (highlighted user) on Cyworld, a popular social media site in Korea in the early 2000s.

Lee Joo Myung will play the character Ji Seung Wan, a class representative who ranks first in his school but has a rebellious nature deep down. He was part of the broadcasting club in high school.

The drama ‘Twenty-Five Twenty-One’ was written by Kwon Do Eun from the drama ‘Search WWW’ and directed by Jung Ji Hyun who also directed ‘Search WWW’, ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’ and ‘You Are My Spring’.

The drama ‘Twenty-Five Twenty-One’ is scheduled to air in the first half of 2022. (1NEWS)
