Monkeys are known to like to eat bananas. But at the tourist attraction Sangeh, Badung, Bali, monkeys are already bored with bananas. So what is their favorite food?
When 1NEWS visited the Sangeh tourist attraction, Monday afternoon (6/9/2021), the manager was feeding hundreds of monkeys. The food that was given that afternoon was peanuts.
The monkeys that had previously dispersed, came to gather at the feeding location. They voraciously ate the distributed nuts.
“The monkeys here (Sangeh) are tired of eating bananas. If given bananas, only one or two will eat bananas,” explained Made Please, the manager of the Sangeh tourist attraction.
