Barito Putera’s coach, Djadjang Nurdjaman, regretted the 1-2 defeat suffered by his team from Bali United in the second week of the BRI Liga 1 2021/2022 match, Saturday (11/9/2021) afternoon WIB. Djadjang said his team lost again because they lost concentration and focus.
Playing at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Barito Putera was actually able to take the lead through Aleksandar Rakic’s goal in the 16th minute. However, Barito Putera’s advantage only lasted until the 28th minute.
Bali United scored the equalizer through Rizky Pellu’s action who took advantage of Barito Putera’s inattentive back line. In fact, Bali United managed to turn things around to 2-1 thanks to Ilija Spasojevic’s goal in the 42nd minute.
In the second half, Barito Putera had two golden opportunities that still hit the bar and the goal post. Until the game was over, there were no additional goals.
“Once again we lost, two in a row. This is a bad situation. However, we in the dressing room had promised to come back in the third match,” said Djadjang after the match.
“The game earlier we had the advantage, but the loss of focus and concentration happened again. So that Bali United’s two goals came in our goal. That must be corrected in the next match, “said Djadjang.
This defeat was Barito Putera’s second time in the BRI Liga 1 2021/2022. Previously, the club nicknamed Laskar Antasari lost 0-1 to Persib Bandung (4/9/2021).
Coach Djadjang Nurdjaman also regretted the poor coordination in Barito Putera’s back line. This is what Bali United managed to maximize to score two goals in the BRI Liga 1 2021/2022.
“I see this defeat as a process of communication and coordination that is not good at the back. In fact, unnecessary balls occur only because of mis-coordination and communication,” said Djadjang.
“This is something that must be improved communication and coordination between our four defenders in the penalty box,” said the man who is familiarly called Djanur.
Barito Putera’s suffering was even more complete after Ambrizal Umanailo suffered an injury against Bali United. Ambrizal only played for 38 minutes and was replaced by Chris Robert Rumbiak.
Coach Djadjang Nurdjaman said Ambrizal was already being treated by the team doctor. Djadjang hopes that the player’s injury is not serious and is ready to return to defend Barito Putera in the next match.
“Ambrizal needs medical attention, but I don’t think it’s too serious. Hopefully in the next few days he can return to health, “said Djanur.
