The destination for Hong Kong is 18 tons worth Rp. 305 million, assuming the exchange rate of the rupiah against the US dollar is Rp. 14,200 per US dollar, and to Iraq as much as 26 tons with a value of Rp. 316 million.

Besides Hong Kong and Iraq, CV Mandiri Persada briquettes have also graced the markets of dozens of other countries in Europe, Asia, and America. These include Lebanon, Morocco, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, the United States, Germany, Spain, Turkey, and so on.

Teten said that his party has a target to reduce the number of micro-enterprises, the majority of which are born because they are not absorbed by job opportunities.

“It is the figure of a small business like CV Mandiri Persada that we must continue to develop and increase in order to advance to class,” said Teten, at the export release event of CV Mandiri Persada, in Neglasari Jamanis, Tasikmalaya, West Java, Saturday (11/9/2021).

Moreover, continued MenKopUKM, the world’s need for briquettes continues to increase, along with anti-coal environmental issues campaigns in various parts of the world.

“In fact, in the future, the trend of coconut oil will increasingly shift palm oil,” said Teten.

Teten added that his party is developing various coconut-based products, such as coconut milk, flour, and so on.

“We have to increase it in the upstream sector,” said Teten.
