Persita Tangerang defender Edo Febriansyah apologized after failing to win in the second match of Liga 1 2021.

Edo Febriansyah was previously determined to bring his team to steal full points from Persib Bandung, Saturday (11/09/21).

He has promised to win the match against Persib as a gift for Persita’s 68th birthday, which fell on September 9 yesterday.

“Alhamdulillah, my friends are in good condition, we are all ready to fight. Incidentally yesterday Persita 68th birthday. Hopefully in tomorrow’s match my friends can fight to give the full three-point gift to Persita,” he said before the match.

But unfortunately, Persita had to admit the strength of the team made by Robert Rene Alberts.

Competing at the Wibawa Mukti Stadium, Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, they narrowly lost with a final score of 1-2.

Two Persib goals were brought by Mohammed Rashid in the 40th and 78th minutes, while Persita’s reply was scored by Irsyad Maulana in the 54th minute.

After the match, Edo Febriansyah quite regretted failing to give Persita a winning gift.

He also apologized to the management and all Persita fans.

The former Peach player is determined to pay the debt of three points in the next game.

In the third week, the Cisadane Warriors will meet Persela Lamongan, Friday 17 September.

“I’m sorry I haven’t been able to give points in tonight’s match,” said Edo.

“That’s football, we have tried as much as possible and we promise to bounce back in the next week,” he added. (soccer)
