Takehiro Tomiyasu – 8/10

Ben White – 7/10

The centre-back showed some good build-up play from the back. He was calm and careful in defence, in short White handled Norwich’s attack quite well.

Gabriel Magalhaes – 7/10

Magalhaes appeared solid in the heart of Arsenal’s defense. He showed excellent positional awareness throughout the game. The centre-back also showed off his outstanding ball skills as he completed 45 passes with 94% accuracy.

Kieran Tierney – 7/10

Slowly becoming Arsenal’s most dependable player, Tierney provided another solid performance for the Gunners. Although it didn’t help much in attack, Tierney handled his defensive duties very well. Tierney finished the game with two key passes, two shots and won three of four duels.

Albert Sambi Lokonga – 8/10

Highly effective and intelligent in his passing, Lokonga already looks like a good prospect for the Gunners. The midfielder won eight defensive duels and managed to complete 45 passes with an accuracy of 87%.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles – 6/10

Maitland-Niles filled in at right-back but failed to make a real impact. Niles does set 80% pass accuracy and two key operands, but sometimes it’s too easy to skip.

Pepe was arguably Arsenal’s best player on the pitch, especially in the second half. He looked threatening on the left flank throughout the game. Unfortunately he didn’t score, only Pepe provided an assist for Aubameyang.

Martin Odegaard – 7.5/10

Odegaard displayed proficient reading of the game and continued to play with neat and accurate passes, but what stood out was the youngster doing his defensive job well and moving the ball smoothly throughout the 90 minutes.

Smith-Rowe had some good moments in attack after coming on. But could not take advantage of the dominance of Arsenal’s possession of the ball.
