German League Final Score Results: Bayer Leverkusen vs Borussia Dortmund, Rain of Goals Creates Advantage for the Visiting Team

1NEWS – The Bundesliga has completed its fourth spieltag game with nine successful matches. One of the interesting matches presents the battle between Bayer Leverkusen against Borussia Dortmund on 11/9/2021.

The match was played at the BayArena, home to Bayer Leverkusen. In that match, there were a number of goals scored and in total there were seven goals. Where the final score for both teams is 3-4 for the advantage of the visitors, Borussia Dortmund.

Three goals in the first half

Playing in his own base, Bayer Leverkusen did not want to disappoint his supporters who had come and supported them. Victory is a fixed price for the home team in order to get full points.

The first goal was born when the game has only been running for seven minutes. Bayer Leverkusen’s potential young attacking midfielder, Florian Wirtz opened the scoring in the match with a direct stab into the heart of the enemy defence.

Borussia Dortmund defenders did not immediately close the line of attack and thought the midfielder would make a pass. However, Florian Wirtz actually did a solo run and ended it with a kick that resulted in a goal.

In the 37th minute, it was Borussia Dortmund’s turn to make the score draw. Thanks to a goal scored by the visitors’ mainstay striker, Erling Haaland. The Norwegian national team striker previously successfully grabbed the ball from a cross from the right side by Thomas Meunier.

With a strong jump and heading, Erling Haaland also managed to make the ball roll into the right corner of Lukas Hradecky’s goal. The ball also managed to vibrate the Bayer Leverkusen goal and change the position to 1-1.

Towards the end of the first half, Bayer Leverkusen managed to make his team back ahead. Czech Republic national team striker, Patrik Schick made every corner of the Bay Arena cheered again thanks to his goals.

Through the fast counter-attack scheme built by Florian Wirtz this time the attacking midfielder did not immediately complete his chances alone. But he prefers to send feedback to Patrik Schick’s feet which is then turned into a goal.

Advantage Turned To Borussia Dortmund In The Second Half

Left behind in the first half, Borussia Dortmund decided to play more attacking. The second half has only been running for three minutes, Julian Brandt immediately made the position a 2-2 draw thanks to his goal.

Utilizing feedback from Erling Haaland, Julian Brandt managed to do a stab into the heart of his enemy’s defense. The defense of the team nicknamed Die Werkself was unable to guard the midfielder and ended up having to concede a goal.

In the 55th minute, the match became exciting again after Die Werkself’s troops managed to score their third goal and put their team ahead. Through a corner kick situation, Moussa Diaby who was standing waiting outside the penalty box managed to score a goal.

The ball that was directed into the goal mouth was successfully driven by the Borussia Dortmund defense and was simply thrown away. But the ball was not thrown away perfectly and instead went to the feet of Moussa Diaby. By targeting a shot into the right corner of Gregor Kobel’s goal, the winger made his supporters roar.

Raphael Guerreiro was finally able to make the position equal again through his hard kick from a set piece situation. Where the Die Borussen left wing-back carried out his duties as a free-kick executioner, the position became 3-3.

Six minutes later, Marco Rose’s men were able to turn the score into an advantage for his team. Erling Haaland who was given the task as the executor of the penalty kick successfully made Lukas Hradecky’s goal vibrate for the fourth time.
