Crazybola.com – Juventus certainly will not be able to rely on their mainstay wing striker, Federico Chiesa in the inaugural Champions League match this season against Malmo in Sweden.
Still yet to win this season, Juventus will be looking to do so when they travel to Sweden to face Malmo in their first Champions League match this season. Massimilian Allegri’s men want to be able to get out of the mini crisis they are currently facing in the first three matches in Serie A where they still won one point.
However, the ambition of the Bianconeri to achieve their first three points this season must be done without some of their retainers, especially one of the mainstay players, namely, Federico Chiesa. The winger who is often the key to victory for his team is still not fit enough to be brought to Sweden and still has to be left in Turin to undergo further recovery.
The certainty of Chiesa’s absence can be seen from the list of players brought by I Bianconeri to visit Malmo on Monday (13/09). The Italian national team player has indeed been doubtful since the morning of Italy after it was reported by Football Italia that the former Fiorentina retainer was still training separately from his colleagues in the first team.
Chiesa did experience a muscle complaint while playing for the Italian national team in the international break a few days ago which ruled him out of the World Cup qualifier against Gli Azzurri against Lithuania. The 23-year-old also played for Juventus when they lost 2-1 at Napoli in Serie A last weekend.
Now it turns out that the player’s condition has not improved and Allegri does not want to take any risks given the tight schedule of the I Bianconeri in the next few days. Apart from Chiesa, Juventus also confirmed that they did not bring in the versatile midfielder, Federico Bernardeschi, who was not included in the list of players brought to Malmo, although it is not yet clear what exactly happened to him in training.
