After making fans happy because of the spinoff project from Mad Max: Fury Road entitled Furiosa has got an official release date, now Warner Bros. is said to have made the decision to push back the release date of the prequel film. The film has now moved to May 24, 2024, almost a year backwards from its previous release date, June 23, 2023.
Furiosa described as a film project that will delve into the origins of the unique character previously played by Charlize Theron (The Old Guard) before appearing in the film. Mad Max: Fury Road. The film will star the Golden Globe winner, Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen’s Gambit), Chris Hemsworth (Avengers: Endgame), and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman, Watchmen, Candyman).
The film will follow the youth story of a tough female warrior, who was first introduced in Fury Road. The prequel will explore the character’s origins long before he became part of Immortan Joe’s War Rig crew and joined Mad Max Rockatansky.
