Research: Marriage has a tremendous impact on health

1NEWS – Wedding is one of the big celebrations in life. This is because marriage involves not only you and your partner but also both families.

By getting married, men and women are united in a sacred bond for life and death. Whatever happens, be it happy or sad, a partner who always accompanies him.

That’s what makes marriage has a positive effect on the mind, health and mental compared to people who are still single and not married.

Launching the Ayojakarta page, Saturday (18/9), researchers from Yokohama City University Graduate School and Chigasaki Municipal Hospital found that married patients were 50 percent less likely to be obese than those who were single.

Then, men with diabetes who are married are also at a lower risk of developing metabolic syndrome.

This syndrome usually leads to heart disease and stroke.

The findings came after researchers examined the medical records of 270 type 2 diabetes patients from 2010 to 2016.

Of the total number, 180 people are married and live with their partners, with 109 men and 71 women.
