The Last Day of Novel Baswedan Cs at the KPK, they did this

1NEWS, Novel Baswedan and 56 employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) who did not pass the National Insight Test (TWK) starting October 1, 2021, have quit the anti-corruption agency.

The last day at the KPK, the 57 KPK employees said goodbye to other employees. 57 employees walked leisurely from the KPK Red and White Building to the KPK Supervisory Board (Dewas) Office.

It was seen Novel Baswedan and the former Chairman of the KPK Employee Forum (WP) Yudi Purnomo Harahap in front of the line. The employees took pictures in front of the KPK’s Red and White Building.

They all collect their ID cards while taking pictures. After the photo, they all walked to the KPK Council Building. On the way, Novel Baswedan was greeted by anti-corruption activists.

Meanwhile, Director of Socialization of the Anti-Corruption Campaign of the Non-Active KPK, Giri Suprapdiono, said that before leaving, they submitted a report on the assets of state officials (LHKPN) and returned the goods belonging to the KPK.

“We report the LHKPN, and we return the laptop, all the equipment (owns) the office like that,” said Giri at the KPK Council office.

Giri also admitted that he would fill in the last few documents. The document is because it is confidential. Then, he also returned his employee ID because he was no longer a KPK employee.

“We have to return our insurance, so everything we get from the KPK is returned today,” said Giri. Some of his staff access has also been closed. Giri has accepted that he is no longer a KPK employee.

It is known, the dismissal of 57 employees was based on the decision of a coordination meeting (Rakor) which was attended by the Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham), Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB), Head of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) and five KPK leaders along with the Secretary General, Head of the Legal Bureau, and Acting Head of the KPK HR Bureau on September 13, 2021 at the BKN Building, Jakarta.

Based on the decision of the coordination meeting, the KPK will appoint and inaugurate 18 KPK employees who have attended and passed the state defense and national insight training. Then to three KPK employees who have just completed assignments from abroad to take part in the TWK assessment which will begin on September 20, 2021.[]
