Kirsten Dunst, Benedict Cumberbatch & Kodi Smit-McPhee Bring ‘Power of the Dog’ To NYFF

Kirsten Dunst, Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Benedict Cumberbatch gather around Jane Campion at the premiere of their new film, The Power Of The Dog, during the 2021 New York Film Festival at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center on Friday (October 1) in New York City.

The trio of stars and director hit the red carpet following a Q&A panel about the new film, which has premiered at both the Venice Film Festival and in Toronto.

Also seen at the premiere of the film were Cinematographer Ari Wegner, and Benedict‘s wife, Sophie Hunter.

You can watch the first trailer for the movie, which will debut on Netflix on November 17, here.

If you missed it, Benedict recently opened up about the decision to have straight actors playing gay roles in the film.

FYI: Code wore a Dior suit, Hirotaka earring, Christian Louboutin boots, and an Emanuele Bichocchi ring to the premiere. Kirsten wore Fred Leighton jewelry.
