Zahra Muzdalifah is included in the AFC’s list of six “best” players in the 2022 Asian Cup Qualifiers.

The Indonesian women’s national team striker, Zahra Muzdalifah, is becoming a hot topic in Indonesia and in Asia.

Zahra Muzdalifah became an important actor in Indonesia’s back to back victory over Singapore in the 2022 Asian Cup Qualifiers.

The Indonesian women’s national team also got a ticket to qualify for the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time since 1989.

The AFC has just released a list of the six players who made the 2022 Asian Cup Qualifiers “light up”.

In the list, there are well-known names from top women’s soccer countries such as Moon Mi-ra (South Korea), Pham Hai Yen (Vietnam), Janista Jinantuya (Thailand), Behnaz Taherkhani (Iran), and Chandler McDaniel (Philippines).

Among these names, tucked a Zahra Muzdalifah.

“At the center of (Indonesian) glory, there is Zahra Muzdalifah who is 20 years old,” wrote the AFC on its official website (30/9/2021).

“His clever movement and precise passing created chances for him and his team-mates in two games.”

In the two legs against Singapore, Zahra was also voted the best player of the match.

AFC did not forget to mention Zahra’s ability to speak in front of the camera.

“He clearly showed happiness, relief and joy at ending the stalemate in the qualifying phase in a post-match interview.”

Zahra Muzdalifah is predicted to be the foundation of the Indonesian national team in the 2022 Asian Cup finals, next January.
