NBA’s Andrew Wiggins Gets COVID-19 Vaccine After Refusing, Will Now Be Allowed to Play This Season

Andrew Wiggins, who famously refused to get the Coronavirus vaccine, has made a huge decision and received the shot.

The 26-year-old NBA star was going to have to miss every Golden State Warriors game this season because the San Francisco Deptartment of Public Health now requires everyone attending indoor events to be fully vaccinated. That means he would not have been able to participate in any NBA games for his home team.

“Andrew got vaccinated,” coach Steve Kerr confirmed this week. “He just told me today that he was fine with us acknowledging it and that will be the end of it. I’m not going to answer any questions beyond that.”

Find out which 11 other celebrities are refusing the vaccine at this time.
