The East Java Indonesian Youth Congress (KPI) plans to report the couple Lesti Kejora and Rizky Billar to the police. Edi Prastio, Chairman of the East Java KPI, said he would make a report at the East Java Police Headquarters.
Edi said that his party had a strong reason to bring Lesti Kejora and Rizky Billar to legal action. This is done to provide understanding to the public about the marriage law.
“So that we can provide education to the community properly and correctly,” said Edi.
Previously, Edi Prastio, said that Lesti Kejora and Rizky Billar had committed two public lies regarding their serial marriage, which was claimed to have taken place before they were officially married on August 19, 2021.
“The marriage is not a problem, but this mixes sharia law and state law, violating the Marriage Law, where the KUA when he performs an unregistered marriage must be divorced so that his child will not have an impact on this marriage,” said Edi.
“If he states that he is married at KUA, it means whose lineage his child belongs to, that is a public lie,” he continued.
