The latest Korean drama ‘My Name’ will soon air on Netflix on October 15.

The series follows a woman named Jiwoo (Han So-hee) who joins a criminal organization to avenge her father’s death.

He was also assigned to be a spy at the police station and used a pseudonym. When transferred to the Narcotics Unit, Jiwoo finds new clues that could reveal his father’s killer.

‘My Name’ is a noir series about revenge that features a variety of tense action actions.

When carrying out his revenge action, the main character can defend himself, including when fighting. At today’s press conference, actor Park Hee-soon said, “When I read the script for ‘My Name’, I felt the story was very original because the main character of this series is a woman”.

He also commented on the various complex emotions that Jiwoo experienced along with the storyline. Played by talented actress Han So-hee with captivating acting, Jiwoo is a great person who will amaze you.

Ahn Bo-hyun said, “Each cast undergoes intense combat training.” Park Hee Soon added, “Our game action does not rely much on the help of ropes or computer graphics. Everything is very emotional, so I think the whole scene is emotional and presents a real fight.”

Director Kim Jin-min also expressed that he wanted to emphasize the real action action in the series and offered praise to the cast, “I’m very proud because our team produced more games than some other shows”.

The boss of the Dongcheon cartel named Mujin (Park Hee-soon) also accepts Jiwoo and helps him to get a new identity and infiltrate the police. ‘My Name’ offers a unique revenge story by featuring a member of a criminal organization disguised as a police officer.

The cast of ‘My Name’ conveyed various compliments to director Kim Jin-min who had previously worked on the popular series ‘Extracurricular’.

Park Hee-soon commented, “Director Kim Jin-min did a great job directing Extracurricular, so I really trust him.” Ahn Bo-hyun added, “I am a huge fan of the Extracurricular series as well.”

Like the dark and bold story in ‘Extracurricular’, viewers can also look forward to Kim Jin-min’s similar directing skills in ‘My Name’. The director also expressed his enthusiasm when returning to the action genre for this series.

Han So-hee is an actress who is on the rise thanks to her roles in ‘The World of the Married’ and ‘Nevertheless’.

Director Kim Jin-min also expressed his appreciation for the two senior actors Park Hee-soon and Kim Sang-ho who have led the other cast with their hospitality and experience.
