ACCURATE.CO The Indonesian National Army (TNI) celebrates its 76th Anniversary on Tuesday (5/10/2021) today. So far, Indonesia’s military strength is well respected in the eyes of the world. In fact, referring to Global Fire Power (GFP) data, Indonesia’s military strength is ranked 16th out of 140 countries.
The TNI strength index is at 0.2684, below Germany (0.2519) and above Saudi Arabia (0.3231). Even higher than Australia, Israel and Spain. Indonesia has even become the country with the strongest military power in the Southeast Asia region.
Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar (Gus Muhaimin) said that the TNI is the front line in defending the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
“We must be proud to have strong soldiers who are always ready to maintain the security and peace of our beloved country,” said Gus Muhaimin, Jakarta, Tuesday (5/10/2021).
The general chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) said that the TNI will always be with the people. Likewise, the people will always accompany the TNI. Gus Muhaimin also admitted that he was a nation because apart from being recognized in the eyes of the world, domestically, various institutional surveys also always placed the TNI at the top of institutions that were trusted or respected by the public.
“We should be proud of our military strength. The sovereignty of this country is in the hands of the TNI as the leading spearhead,” he explained.
Therefore, said Gus Muhaimin, he invited the whole community to always support the performance of the TNI. On the other hand, the DPR will always support the improvement of the TNI’s performance. One of them is by supporting from the budget side to rejuvenating the defense equipment system.
“Celebrating the 76th anniversary of the Indonesian National Army. Stay victorious wherever you are,” said Gus Muhaimin.
It is known, referring to GFP data, military strength is measured based on the number of human resources, air forces, land and sea, as well as natural resources, logistics, finance, and geography.
