1NEWS – Persipura Jayapura player, Ramai Rumakiek ignored the call for the Indonesia U23 National Team, thus making his club threatened with bad luck.
Rumakiek was in the spotlight after not responding when he was called to attend the U23 Indonesia National Team training camp ahead of the 2021 SEA Games which will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam on 6-22 May 2022.
As a result, the coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae Yong, also imposed a sanction in the form of removing the name of Ramai Rumakiek from the list of players at the 2021 SEA Games.

Launching from the PSSI official website, Sunday (17/4), Shin Tae Yong explained that Rumakiek was not present at the entire U23 national team training camp in Jakarta.
In fact, until the day the Garuda Muda squad departed for South Korea to continue their training camp, Rumakiek had no news.

“Rumakiek can’t play in the SEA Games. We’ve sent a summons, he didn’t respond at all, so I have to give Rumakiek a penalty,” said Shin Tae Yong.
In addition, Rumakiek is also threatened with heavier sanctions from the PSSI Disciplinary Commission (Komdis).

Based on the PSSI Disciplinary Code Article 73 concerning Negligence of Obligations to the National Team, Rumakiek is threatened with a penalty of a minimum of six months of competition plus a fine of Rp. 20 million.
