Crazy Ball – Real Madrid managed to overturn Sevilla’s advantage, which in the first half had already taken the lead with two goals in the match which was held at the Estadion Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Monday (18/4) early this morning.

Two goals from Ivan Rakitic and Erik Lamela in the first half managed to be answered by three goals from Madrid players, Rodrygo, Nacho and Karim Benzema in the second half!

Sevilla started the game in high spirits, immediately pressing the Real Madrid defense from the first minute. They are eager to win, considering that the last six meetings have always ended in defeat to Los Blancos and are trying to reduce the gap in points in the Spanish League standings where Sevilla are closely competing with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in the second place.

The home team’s hard work paid off in the 21st minute when Ivan Rakitic with a free kick from outside the box scored the first goal for his team. It was also Madrid’s posse to leave room for Rakitic to slip the ball between them. Score 1-0 Sevilla lead!

And just four minutes from Rakitic’s goal, Erik Lamela doubled Sevilla’s lead! Again, Madrid’s defense became the cause of Sevilla’s second goal. Acuna sent a through ball that was directed at Corona and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois stepped off the line to block the Mexican winger. But the ball was then given to Lamela who easily slotted the ball into the visitors’ goal! Sevilla score 2-0 away!

Carlo Ancelotti’s squad was increasingly fierce trying to catch up and press the Sevilla defense which in the end managed to reduce Los Blancos’ attacks and end the first half with a score of 2-0.

In the second half, Real Madrid immediately stepped on the gas, Bounou had time to block Karim Benzema’s kick. And in the 50th minute Real Madrid scored a goal back!

Good cooperation between Vinicius Junior and Carvajal from the left wing then sent the ball into the Sevilla penalty box. Rodrygo who was waiting directly beat the meausk ball into the host’s goal and changed the position to 2-1!

Vinicius Junior had the ball into Sevilla’s goal and the Real Madrid players thought they had equalized, but after VAR checks, the goal was ruled out by the referee for Vinicius’s handball.

Los Blancos finally managed to equalize to 2-2 in the 82nd minute through a goal scored by Nacho, substitute Lucas Vazuez who entered the field less than a minute! Again Carvajal took the lead and then handed the ball to Nacho, and his first shot of the game went straight for the goal!

And who would have thought, Karim Benzema would again be the savior of Real Madrid! In 90+2 minute injury time, Benzema stole Sevilla’s victory in the last minute of the match! The collaboration of Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo built an attack and then the ball was sent to the Los Blancos goal machine! Benzema made a few touches keeping the ball from several defenders around him, and he finally managed to score to make it 2-3!

The match ended between Sevilla vs Real Madrid with a final score of 2-3, Real Madrid was steadily at the top of the Spanish League standings while Sevilla’s second position was evicted by Barcelona and now they are also threatened by Atletico Madrid!
