1NEWS – Three Indonesian men’s doubles pairs, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan, Bagas Maulana/Shohibul Fikri and Fajar Alfian/Rian Ardianto made Malaysian media, The Star, worried ahead of the 2022 Badminton Asia Championships (BAC).
The Star highlighted that Malaysia’s opportunity to win the title in the men’s doubles sector at BAC 2022 is still very open.

There are at least three pairs of men’s doubles that will be fielded by Malaysia, namely Ong Yew Sin/Teo Ee Yi will meet Chang Tak Ching/Yeung Ming Nok from Hong Kong, Sze Fei/Izzuddin will play Soloman Padiz/Julius Villabrille from the Philippines.

However, the Malaysian squad’s steps to maintain this hope are predicted to go all-out.
The Star specifically mentions several pairs that could pose a threat to Malaysia, three of whom are representatives of Indonesia.
