Borneo FC announced the recruitment of senior goalkeeper Shahar Ginanjar as their first transfer move ahead of the 2022/23 Indonesian Liga 1 competition, the club announced on the club’s official website on Sunday.

“Alhamdulillah, for our first signing, Borneo FC received a signature from Shahar Ginanjar in the position of goalkeeper. We have a contract with a duration of two seasons,” said Borneo FC President Nabil Husien.

The player from Purwakarta is considered to have experience that makes him worthy to be part of Milomir Seslija’s squad.

The collection of two league titles owned by Shahar is expected to be able to transmit his fortune to the pride of the Samarinda community.

Shahar has a collection of two league titles he won while defending Persib Bandung (2014) and Persija Jakarta (2018).

Before joining Borneo FC, the 31-year-old goalkeeper had time to defend Dewa United, who was successfully promoted to League 1 next season.

“This is our need for experienced goalkeepers, we know that Shahar has quality and has experience bringing the clubs he plays for into the air. Hopefully he will bring that luck to Borneo FC,” said Nabil.

As for the names of other new players, this young entrepreneur asks to be patient because in the next few days it will definitely be announced to be part of Borneo FC.

“There will still be a follow-up to this recruitment, we just have to wait for each release that we will issue which players will join Pesut Etam,” he concluded.
