1NEWS – People’s luck sometimes comes suddenly. Without ever planning someone can suddenly get abundant blessings. An example has just been experienced by a young Russian golfer of Latvian descent, Marta Silchenko.

Only 17 years old, Silchenko is listed as one of the Russian golf athletes who are pursuing a career. His status is still an amateur athlete, but is on the way to a professional golf tour.

Studying at Oklahoma State University allowed Silchenko to appear at various international golf championships. He was not affected by the penalties against Russian sport in connection with the invasion of Ukraine. That’s because he lives in the United States (US).

The athlete who was born on March 2, 2005 has a pretty good achievement at a very young age. Currently, Silchenko has a European ranking of 50 and a world amateur rating of 393.

Since 2019, Silchenko has made various achievements at the junior and senior levels. For example, the 2019 Latvian Junior Open champion, the 2019 Russian Junior Championship winner, the 2019 Polish Ladies Championship runner-up, the 2020 Latvian Open Championship winner, to the 2021 Tallinn Golf Cup winner.

Currently, Silchenko is in France. Ecole dropout Jules Verne de Riga, Latvia, was following a golf tournament in Paris. And, this is where Silchenko got the luck.

It’s not about winning in the goal tournament that’s being followed. It’s also not about the individual awards won from the world’s most prestigious golf arenas. It’s about football. This is about Silchenko’s luck meeting Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) players.

Why is Silchenko so lucky? Imagine, he is in the same elevator with Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Marquinhos, Sergio Ramos, and many others. As a form of joy, Silchenko posted a selfie of himself in the elevator to his social media account.

How could he be there? As it turned out, Silchenko was staying at the same hotel as the PSG players.

On that day, Les Parisiens had a Ligue 1 match against Marseille. Despite playing at home, usually all members of the squad will gather at the hotel before the game. Coincidentally, Silchenko was heading to the gym to practice fitness. Unexpectedly, the PSG squad entered the same elevator.

The response from citizens online to the photos of Silchenko with the PSG squad is truly golden. Everyone considers Silchenko the luckiest person in the world!
