Arema FC again made a breakthrough ahead of the 2022/2023 Liga 1 rollout. Through Arema’s boss, Gilang Widya Pramana or Juragan 99, they created a design competition for a team bus called Singo Edan.

This competition is open to the public. His party has given the name Jen99ala for Arema FC’s new fleet to welcome next season.

The breakthrough by Juragan 99 has begun to prove Arema FC is very serious about welcoming the new season. Previously, a row of players with star labels had been successfully brought in.

As is known, until now, there have been at least seven first-class players who have been presented by Arema FC management. Starting from Evan Dimas, Adam Alis, Ilham Udin Armaiyn to the U-23 national team striker for the 2022 SEA Games Vietnam, Hanis Sagara.

“We want to bring a new spirit from the team bus with this rebranding. And anyone, from Aremania to netizens, please contribute by participating in the competition,” said Gilang Widya Pramana, Monday (4/18/2022).

The prizes that are prepared are also no joke. A total of IDR 5 million in cash and 10 Arema FC jerseys have been prepared for his work which was chosen as the winner.

Through this competition, of course, there will be a design that makes the Arema FC team bus look more fierce and dashing. Of course, it also reflects the strength of the Arema FC team, which is also increasingly looking at Liga 1 next season.

“Let’s design as creative and unique as possible. Don’t forget to clearly explain the meaning or philosophy of your design,” continued Gilang Widya Pramana.

New Mission

On the other hand, Arema FC has a new mission starting next season. Namely, starting to give contracts for more than one season for players, both newly recruited and old players.

For new players, Evan Dimas, Adam Alis and Ilham Udin Armaiyn who got a contract with a duration of two seasons. Meanwhile, foreign players, Sergio Silva, Adilson Maringa and Renshi Yamaguchi also got two season contracts.

A rare thing for foreign players. But Arema’s management and coaches certainly have considerations.

“Players who are considered to have potential will be given long-term contracts,” explained Gilang Widya Pramana.

For local players, previously Arema only gave long-term contracts to players who had just been promoted from Arema Academy.

In addition, local players, namely Dedik Setiawan and M. Rafli also had time to get long contracts from management. So, Arema fenced off the young players who are predicted to be the backbone of the team for the next few seasons.

But why is the contract given not more than 2 seasons? This corresponds to Gilang’s tenure in Arema. Because his term as Club President will end in 2 years.

So, he doesn’t seem to want to burden the next leadership with a hefty contract value for his current players, including Evan Dimas, Adam Alis, and the foreign players currently owned by Arema FC, which are not cheap players. Their contracts are estimated to be in the billions of rupiah.
