Manager Ralf Rangnick could not help but give a sharp assessment of Manchester United’s performance.
Crazy Ball – Ralf Rangnick has been outspoken in his assessment of his squad after the humiliating 4-0 defeat of Manchester United at home to Liverpool in the Premier League match on Wednesday (20/4) early morning WIB.
The Reds shows how far their level is now above The Red Devils after their 4-0 win at Anfield, following up their incredible 0-5 win in the first meeting then at Old Trafford under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Even Manchester United’s poor form has earned them scathing criticism from club legends such as Gary Neville and Roy Keane, and now manager Ralf Rangnick is not used to holding back from harsh judgments on his squad.
The Germany boss, who will be replaced by Erik ten Hag at the end of the season, even vehemently alleged that his squad’s performance was not only disgraceful, but humiliating, while admitting that his side have every reason to be ashamed of other lessons from a top club.
“It’s disgraceful, disappointing, maybe even humiliating,” Ralf Rangnick told BBC Match of the Day. “We have to accept them six years ahead of us now. When Jurgen Klopp came, he changed the club and raised not only the team, but the club and the city to a new level.”
“That’s what needs to happen with us in the next transfer window. In fact maybe we don’t just need six or seven players, but maybe up to ten new players in our squad for the next season.”
