Juventus advanced to the Coppa Italia final after eliminating Fiorentina with a 3-0 aggregate advantage! Inter Milan will be their opponent in the final!

Crazy Ball – The second leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal between Juventus vs Fiorentina was held at the Allianz Stadium, Juve’s headquarters on Thursday (21/4) this morning. Juve won 2-0 through Federico Bernardeschi’s goal and won 3-0 on aggregate over Fiorentina.

In another Coppa Italia semifinal match the day before, Inter Milan beat AC Milan with a landslide score of 3-0 and finally made it to the final after a decade of waiting!

Juventus desperately need a win in this semi-final second leg, especially after they are certain to miss the chance to win in the Italian League Serie A this season.

The first opportunity in this match was obtained by Alvaro Morata for Juventus when the match had only entered the sixth minute. The Spaniard chased a through ball from Dusan Vlahovic, but his shot went straight to goalkeeper Dragowski in a one-on-one!

Juventus were bolder in attack and Masimiliano Allegri’s squad was more dominant in possession, and their hard work paid off in the 32nd minute!

Juventus managed to score their first goal through Federico Bernardeschi’s goal, the score was 1-0 and went 2-0 up on aggregate! A superb volley with his left foot as keeper Dragowski misses a cross from the left flank. A fatal mistake from the Fiorentina goalkeeper, and a superb finish from the Bianconeri winger!

Fiorentina played too openly and gave up very easily in the fight for the ball against Juve’s players, several times they were threatened when the hosts launched a counter-attack. Luckily they didn’t concede again until halftime.

The home fans cheered in the 69th minute when the Fiorentina goal conceded again! Adrien Rabiot got the ball into the net! The French midfielder was completely unmarked when Bernardeschi’s right-wing cross flew into the net, Rabiot tucking the ball past Dragowski! But VAR says otherwise! Rabiot turned out to be offside in the process of the goal! Goal cancelled!

But finally the Old Lady managed to add their second goal in injury time! And it was Danilo who still managed to break into the visitors’ goal in the 90+4 minute using Cuadrado’s pass which broke his former team’s defense and was completed perfectly by Danilo!

In the end the match ended with a score of 2-0 and 3-0 on aggregate between Juventus vs Fiorentina, with this victory Alvaro Morata advanced to the Coppa Italia final against Inter Milan!
