The height of the Eiffel Tower has increased by 6 meters, how come?

1NEWS – The Eiffel Tower has increased by 6 meters after the installation of a new digital radio antenna at the top of the monument.

As is known, the Eiffel Tower in France was built by Gustave Eiffel at the end of the 19th century.

Launching Reuter, Wednesday (20/4), the monument now measures 330 meters after the DAB+ (digital audio) antenna was mounted to the top by helicopter.

During its construction, the Eiffel Tower surpassed the Washington Monument and was once the tallest man-made structure in the world.

He held that title for four decades until the Chrysler Building in New York City was inaugurated in 1929.

The wrought iron lattice tower is one of the most visited tourist sites in the world, according to TripAdvisor.

However, it has also been used for broadcast transmissions for over 100 years.
